ENERGY WORK
Energy work has been done throughout history and within many different cultures. Eastern Cultures (Buddhism and Hinduism) formulated the physical/emotional connection through energies points within the body, named Chakras. Ancient Egyptians popularized the use of crystals and their properties (as well as Mesopotamia, India, Ancient Greece, or Ancient Rome) worked with crystals for their energetic properties to heal, cleanse, protect, and manifest. Dr. Alfred Tomatis was the pioneer for pushing the importance of sound therapy for healing and mental development, but many tribal cultures used music and sound to put people into trances and used to summon energies during ceremonies, while eastern cultures used sound for meditation and rebalancing. In physics, energy is everywhere, and everything has a frequency. It makes sense that we need to balance and retune our own energy and frequencies every once in a while.

Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

Relax and let the waves of vibrational energy wash over your body. This helps to balance your own aura and rejuvenate your chakras by retuning your own energetic frequency. This energy work will work with different instruments of sound vibration, based upon what is guided to use. May include: tuning forks, sound bowls, chimes, or a drum to help balance out your own energies.

Lay down and relax while crystals are placed on and around your body. Crystals have been used for many years in many cultures as a way to heal, recharge, clear away old energies, and even help one to resonate with the energies they wish to manifest in their life.

A combination of different modalities that may include: reiki, crystal, energy cleansing, intuitive messages, visualization, sound healing, aromatherapy, and more depending on the guided aspects of the service.

If you fall back into old habits then those same energies will repeat, please make sure to make positive habits and healthy choice to maintain the healing work you do with me or anyone one else you see. All energy/spiritual/metaphysical services do not do another that counters the want/willingness of the client (we cannot control or make changes that goes against the client’s will). Client’s may experience old memories/habits/suppressed/emotions that bubble up to the surface in order to be released…this is part of the healing process of letting go of old wounds/energies. No tissue is manipulated so a massage license is not needed., nor do any massage therapy sessions take place during an energy healing session.

CANCELLATION POLICY
To Our Valued Guests
Your appointments are very important to all members of our team at Studio M Salon and Spa. Time allocated for an appointment is reserved especially for you. We do understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 24-hours’ notice for adjustments to your appointments and for cancellations. We recognize the time of our guests and staff is valuable and have implemented this policy for this reason.
APPOINTMENT CONFIRMATIONS
As a courtesy, we will send out an email and/or text to confirm your service appointments two business day prior to your appointment date. Please ensure that we have your current email address and contact phone number on file in order for you to receive our confirmation communications.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We require at least 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your reservation. Last minute cancellations or no-shows will be charged 100% of the service fee.
Please understand that when you cancel or reschedule your appointment without giving enough notice, we not only lose your business, but also the potential business of other clients who would have scheduled an appointment for the same time.
Additionally, many times our staff will be functioning in an “on call” status and will have traveled to the spa specifically for your service. For these reasons we are obligated to compensate our staff for their time as well as make up for the lost revenue.
We ask that all new and current guests supply a credit card to secure the reservation. All cards on file are added to the system via a secure electronic process that ensures the information is encrypted and remains secure. In the event that we do not receive the required notice for adjustments and cancellations the following fees will be applied to your card.
